​This free, evidence-based app was developed in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology, dermatologists from Penn State Health, and primary care providers (PCPs).


How it works
1. Select the age of your patient.
2. Choose the affected area or areas.
3. Enter the frequency and duration of the treatment.
4. The app will then suggest specific steroid potencies, types, sizes and amounts. It will also suggest the corticosteroid formulation, such as gel, solution, cream or ointment.

While it won’t dictate what to prescribe, it will give you options with the appropriate potency, dosage and formulation. You don’t have to remember which medications come in which sizes, or how many tubes or bottles your patient needs.
